Concedidos por la Online News Association y la Columbia
Graduate School of Journalism fueron entregados los premios
nacionales de periodismo online. CNET, fue el ganador del
premio concedidos a los sitios independientes con más de
200.000 visitantes únicos al mes, mientras que Washington Post
recibía el premio similar a aquellos medios afiliados a grupos
editoriales.
En la edición de este año se presentaron 728 inscripciones de
200 sitios distintos representando a 10 países. Finalmente los
premios quedaron en "casa", aunque entre los 64 finalistas
quedaron, también, representantes de Canadá y Dinamarca.
