Motorola W385. Para tener acceso a la opción de multimedia es necesario instalar la versión 4.36 de Phone Tools, configurar la comunicación de forma manual como CDMA e identificar el teléfono como el modelo V6c.Listo W385 es reconocido, se puede hacer respaldo de los contactos , calendario editar ringtones de los mp3 y la data, exportar fotos de la pc al teléfono y viceversa. USB Hub funcionó perfecto. El “driver” que necesitan para XP y Vista es “Handset_USB_Driver32 v3.7.0.msi” lo pueden descargar aquí (hay que suscribirse a la página, es gratis).
PASOS:
Primero asegúrate de que Phone Tools sea la versión 4.36 y no dejes que se actualice. Parece que las versiones posteriores desactivan la opción de multimedia.
Segundo. Deja que el programa trate de reconocer el teléfono; cuando te indique que no lo reconoce, seleccionas que quieres hacer el proceso manual.
Tercero. Le das “siguiente hasta que te pida seleccionar el tipo de MODEM.
Cuarto. Eliges modem “CDMA”. Motorota.
Cuarto. En el modelo de teléfono tienes que escoger el V6c y no el W385,
Listo el w385 es reconocido.
Nota. No debes permitir que el programa se actualice a otra versión. Exitos

Este celular es una chavienda me esta volviendo loka no se le puede pasar nada ni musica ni imagenes amenos que sea por bluetooth yo e usado todas las versiones de motorola phone tools y nada funciona no reconoce el celular que de porcierto es un W385 el unico que lo reconocio fue la version 5 pero no se le pueden pasar imagenes y mucho menos musica y al parecer todos estamos = con el mismo problema lamentablemente bueno espero que si hay algo que nos sirva que lo encontremos pronto

Hola a todos, consegui la solucion a este problema del motorola W385, tienen que bajar el motorola tool y actualizarlo tantas veces lo pieda el update, y si no consiguen ese software yo tengo el cd de instalación, vean la manera de como pasarselos y se los mando, suerte!
