Según este estudio, el iPhone de Apple falla menos de la mitad de las veces que sus rivales Blackberry y Treo tras doce meses de uso. En este estudio fue analizado el funcionamiento de más de 15.000 móviles durante un año.
En el caso del iPhone, el 5,6% de los usuarios detectaron fallos en su funcionamiento mientras que el número fue mayor en el caso de los Blackberry (11,9%) y el Treo de Palm, con un 16,2% de reclamaciones.
El estudio prevé que tras dos años de uso, los fallos del iPhone aumentaran al 11,3% de los terminales mientras que Blackberry y el Treo tendrán un porcentaje del 14% y 21% respectivamente.
Los principales problemas detectados por los usuarios del iPhone se relacionaron con la pantalla táctil (32%) y en mucho menor medida (0,5) a la batería y su autonomía.
