Los nuevos TV llegan conexión Internet, un diseño ultra Slim, una calidad de imagen que deja asombrados a cualquier y un precio asequible en la gama de entrada.
La tecnología LED, ya esta aquí. La nueva tecnología de pantallas “planas” promete una buena resolución y unos diseños más delgados de pantallas. Algo, que por lo que hemos visto en los nuevos TV Samsung, cumple y de sobras.
La gama Samsung de TV LED esta compuesta por dos series, la 6000 y la 7000. Ambas series son Full HD e integran un sintonizador TDT de Alta definición de fábrica, lo que facilitará al comprador la posibilidad de visualizar canales de TV HD cuando estos estén operativos en España sin necesidad de un equipamiento opcional.
También los dos modelos ofrecen ratios de refresco de 100 HZ, semejantes a los que ya ofrecen los TV LCD de gama alta.
Series 6000
La serie 6000 está compuesta por tres modelos de 32, 40 y 46. La gama parte de un TV al precio de 1.199 euros para la pantalla de 32 pulgadas.

Series 7000
Internet, DLNA inalámbrico y USB son las grandes ventajas que aporta esta serie compuesta por TV de 40, 46 y 55 pulgadas.
Equipado con dos puertos USB, los TV de la serie 7000 son capaces de reproducir cualquier elemento multimedia almacenado en un pendrive convencional. Sea música, fotografía o video (la lista de codecs soportados es casi infinita y es difícil encontrar alguno que no este contemplado) e incluso films en HD. La velocidad de transferencia entre el USB y el TV es rapidísima, también en HD, facilitando al usuario una gran comodidad a la hora de almacenar o transportar el contenido multimedia en este soporte, cada vez más popular.
Internet, es otro de los reclamos de la gama. El TV puede conectarse “vía” LAN a Internet para descargar contenido multimedia o bien noticias o información a través de los widgets que lleva incorporados y que le permiten acceder rápidamente a los servicios de Yahoo! News, Flickr y en poco tiempo Youtube. Por el momento no es posible navegar por Internet a través del TV, pero por que el fabricante no ha incorporado ninguna herramienta técnica que lo facilite. Hay que señalar que cuando el TV accede a los widgets de Yahoo u otros servicios online está “conectado” a la red actuando como un PC por lo que no seria nada improbable que en versiones futuras se incorpore un “teclado” y un “navegador” a esta oferta de TV online.
En cuando a la DLNA nos permite acceder al contenido almacenado en cualquier dispositivo a través de una red cableada o inalámbrica. Los equipos electrónicos de la casa, compatibles con esta tecnología, constituyen una gran red “multimedia” por el que es posible ver desde la Tele el video almacenado en el ordenador como desde el ordenador un video almacenado en un móvil.
La conectividad con la red DLNA viene de estándar a través de un cable LAN pero opcionalmente el usuario puede adquirir un dispositivo USB que le permite adentrarse en la red y con todas sus ventajas inalambricamente.

Un solo chip y LED blancos
Y ahora, aunque sea rápidamente vamos a reseñar dos de las novedades más atractivas en cuanto a tecnología que aportan los nuevos TV LED de Samsung.
1. Un solo chip: Chelsea, es el nombre que ha recibido el chip creado por Samsung encargado de todo el proceso de imagen con el que ha equipado sus TV 2009. A diferencia de otros fabricantes que cuentan con varios chips encargados de esta misión, Samsung ha apostado por uno solo lo que le permite un mayor control de todos los procesos (visualización de alta definición, reescalado de imágenes…) reduciendo el espacio y obteniendo unos dispositivos más ligeros y delgados. Que el chip “sea de la casa” y no de un proveedor externo es otra ventaja.
2. Led Blancos Apostar por la unificación de tecnologías es algo difícil en la industria de la electrónica donde cada fabricante quiere hacer valer sus propias propuestas como un elemento diferenciador al resto de sus competidores. Y en esta ocasión, Samsung no es una excepción, el fabricante coreando es uno de los grandes suministradores de paneles LCD y LED del mundo y esta apostando fuertemente por la tecnología Edge LED para la retroiluminación LED.
Entre sus ventajase, el Edge Led aporta una mejora en el contraste con unos negros más profundos, el aumento del brillo, un consumo energético de hasta un 30% en comparación con el LED RGB de otros fabricantes y finalmente la construcción de unos paneles más delgados.
Y es que Samsung vive desde hace años una lucha en favor los formatos slim y ultra-slim, no solo en TV sino también en móviles y otros dispositivos electrónicos. Que esta tecnología de retroiluminación facilite la fabricación de TV más delgados ya es un motivo suficientemente interesante para llamar la atención del fabricante coreano.
Y como señalo Antonio Rull, esa delgadez no se consigue entregando al consumidor otra caja en el que se incluyen el enchufe a la corriente o los altavoces sino con paneles totalmente integrados en el que a pesar de su extrema delgadez incorporan sistemas estéreo, conectividad y fuente de alimentación.
