La compañía japonesa NEC anunció este martes que va a comercializar una tableta con teclado, basada en el sistema operativo Android, para competir en un jugoso mercado liderado por el iPad de Apple.
La tableta de NEC, que saldrá al mercado nipón el 10 de marzo con el nombre de “LifeTouch Note“, pesará unos 700 gramos y tendrá, además de un teclado físico, un soporte que le permitirá ser utilizado como un ordenador portátil cuando sea necesario.
La “LifeTouch Note” funcionará con el sistema operativo Android de Google y se lanzará en tres verisiones a partir de los 360 euros, y su batería durará nueve horas cuando se utilice para navegar por internet.
Las principales características del LifeTouch son las siguientes:

- Coenctividad 802.11 b/g WiFi,

El objetivo de NEC, el primer fabricante de ordenadores personales de Japón, es comercializar 100.000 unidades de su nueva tablet durante el primer año, según la agencia japonesa Kyodo.
