Es muy fácil interactuar con una colección multimedia usando el marco multitáctil de la pantalla, que está rodeada por el nuevo “Edge Access”, sensible al tacto que ofrece un cómodo acceso “sin ratón” a las funciones más importantes.
Al tocar el logo de VAIO en la esquina superior del marco se inicia la Galería Multimedia, una forma intuitiva de ojear y disfrutar de la colección de fotos, vídeos y música. Otras regiones sensibles al tacto del marco permiten navegar o hacer zoom sobre documentos y páginas web, pasar de una ventana a otra, iniciar un teclado “virtual” en pantalla o ver una práctica guía de funcionamiento. El marco también dispone de un logo iluminado de Sony que al tocarlo ilumina el marco para poderlo ver cómodamente en habitaciones oscuras.
La Serie L de VAIO proporciona toda la potencia necesaria para gestionar las colecciones multimedia, ya que cuenta en su interior con la última generación de los veloces procesadores Intel Core i7 o i5. Las últimas tarjetas gráficas NVIDIA con soporte DX11 garantizan una experiencia de vídeo en HD incluso más satisfactoria con la nueva generación de juegos PC diseñados para procesadores multinúcleo.
Dependiendo de la configuración, su lector de Blu-ray Disc le permitirá crear, editar y almacenar contenido HD en los más de 50 GB de capacidad de cada disco Blu-ray. Y si está jugando o viendo películas HD, el sonido S-Force Front Surround 3D complementa su experiencia de entretenimiento HD con un audio potente y de gran realismo.
La cámara web HD potenciada por “Exmor” ofrece una imagen clara y nítida de alta definición. Es ideal para chatear en la web y realizar videollamadas.
Sólo con pulsar el botón WEB, de fácil acceso, el equipo se enciende y se conecta a Internet en cuestión de segundos. Dispone también del botón ASSIST que inicia el software VAIO Care, que soluciona problemas y mantiene su VAIO en óptimas condiciones.
