It is much simpler to beg forgiveness immediately after the fact, as significantly as perhaps, potentially (not stating during this case) writing an ad that may perhaps trump items up a bit over they need to be. Once more, I am not indicating that is the case the following, but it is a good example from the possibility of coming back later with, “Oh, with the research I had accomplished, and…”..

I do believe all of the ideas you’ve offered to your post. They are really convincing and can certainly work. Nonetheless, the posts are too brief for newbies. Could you please extend them a little from subsequent time? Thanks for the post.

Hiya, I am really glad I’ve found this information. Nowadays bloggers publish only about gossips and net and this is actually irritating. A good site with exciting content, that is what I need. Thank you for keeping this site, I will be visiting it. Do you do newsletters? Can not find it.

In C#39, Somsak Jeamteerasakul raised potential doubt regarding the letter’s authenticity due to the apparently contradictory accounts of CP’s financial support (or lack of) in the letter and in WikiLeaks cable 05BANGKOK868.

Thanks Somsak for “dare to win, dare to lose”. It is a very important character of the nakleng I tried to explain, including the leadership of the UDD. But the phrase didn’t come up to me when I wrote the article. It explains many of their somewhat belligerent, risk-taking behaviors and tactics. It has the upsides for this movement but the downsides too, as Somsak points out.

With all due respect, I think the royalist regime is not all bad, or rather wasn’t all bad, especially during the cold war era. However, Thailand is now like a full-grown adult, but the ancien regime is still insisting on babysitting like overprotective parents. Imagine if you have grown up, has a good job, can support yourself and then some, and your parents mess with everything you’re doing, meanwhile lecturing that by virtues of ages they are smarter, have more experiences, yada yada. It’s probably motivated by good intention, but you would still find it very patronizing, annoying, and this is not going to do good to the health of the relationship. I would think Thailand is best left to deal with this growing pains of democratization without such a drastic measure as a coup.

That seems pretty naive Mary. Why are the Karen malnourished, without tools, without housing? Is it because they are a quaint and simple folk with no knowledge of farming and construction? If that’s your belief I’d say read more before posting. They are without food, shelter, etc because SPDC likes to raid, demolish, and burn their villages and towns. How can you create an infrastructure without security? You can do this over and over again, but be prepared to lose it over and over again at the cost of resources. I know of one medical clinic built recently, which very recently was torched by SPDC. I don’t know that foreign volunteer fighters are helping win the battle, but they do lift morale.
