Ranking de buscadores de internet en España
Según un sondeo realizado por la consultora Netprovider Google es el buscador más utilizado por los internautas. Por cada búsqueda en Yahoo se hacen 7 en Google.
El sondeo se realizado con la colaboración de Demandi sobre dos millones de usuarios de diferentes páginas web, como la web de la Asociación de Música en Internet o Escucha.com entre otras.
El resultado es que casi un 78% de usuarios utilizan Google para hacer sus consultas en Internet, seguido de Yahoo con cerca de un 13%
Esto supone un vuelco en las prácticas de los internautas que usaban Yahoo como buscador principal y que apenas conocían Google hace escasamente cinco años.
Entre los buscadores nacionales el más utilizado es Ozú, un buscador que aparece a finales de los 95, con la peculiaridad de que la Base de Datos del buscador y del directorio estaba íntegramente gestionada y actualizada por personas (con ayuda de herramientas de rastreo y gestión de calidad).

Msn (Live Search): 6,76%
Ozú : 2,25%
Lycos : 0,45%
Otros: 3,15%
En este resultado del sondeo tienen mucho que ver las herramientas y utilidades que Google ofrece a sus usuarios como son la página de inicio del buscador personalizada o la barra de Google con programas gratuitos como el Picassa, cada vez más utilizado por aquellos que cargan fotos y videos en su ordenador.
No obstante, es cada vez más usual que en la barra del navegador los usuarios incorporen las “cajas” de estos dos motores de búsqueda, lo que tiene su lógica teniendo en cuenta que los resultados de las consultas suelen ser diferentes en ambos buscadores.
Exceptuando Live Search, el buscador de Microsoft que incorpora la última versión 7.0 del navegador Internet Explorer, casi todos los buscadores utilizan el motor de búsqueda de Google o de Yahoo. Así por ejemplo, TERRA usa el motor de búsqueda de Google y LYCOS el de Yahoo.

Me sorprende que Ask.com no aparezca en este estudio, cuando según las estadísticas de Nielsen del mes de Julio somos el 4º buscador de España por usuarios:

Pero si el buscador de ozu.es es Google… no entiendo que hace en ese ranking?¿

Puede alguien decirme ¿donde puedo echarle un vistazo al informe de nielsen sobre los buscadores en España del mes de Julio?
He estado buscando en la pagina de Nielsen y no encuentro dicho informe por ninguna parte.

El mejor buscador, para mi opinión y experiencia, es Google. A todos los niveles, puesto que es el que más se preocupa de las necesidades de los/as usuarios/as. Esa preocupación se nota porque somos más de 500 millones de personas que lo usamos. No sería mallo que los demás hicieran lo mismo y más Micrososoft.
