Yahoo lanza su buscador para PCs

Ya está disponible la descarga de este software, tal como anunció Yahoo el pasado mes de Diciembre.

Este producto viene a sumarse a la carrera de los buscadores en el escritorio para Windows que protagonizan entre otros Google Desktop, Copernic y la MSN Toolbar Suite de Microsoft.

La principal baza que presenta este Yahoo! Desktop Search es la gran cantidad de formatos que es capaz de indexar y en este caso, si que hay que afirmarlo, se diferencia muy claramente de sus rivales que apenas aceptan algunas decenas de formatos, por supuesto muchos menos de los que habitualmente manejamos.

Otra diferencia con estos es que la herramienta de Yahoo se basa en un software comercial largamente probado de X1.
