Con tan sólo 27 gramos de peso, son las gafas más ligeras del mercado pesando un 25% menos que los primeros modelos de gafas 3D.
La disminución en el peso no ha mermado la vanguardia de las funcionalidades: se han mejorado las lentes de LCD lo que ha hecho posible aumentar el contraste y el brillo de la imagen, haciendo que la vista se canse menos. Además, se ha incorporado la tecnología Bluetooth mejorando así la comunicación con la televisión y bloqueando cualquier tipo de interferencia que venga de otra fuente de transmisión.
Por otro lado y también por primera vez, las gafas 3D permiten graduar las lentes.
La colaboración entre ambas compañías se inició en Austria con la propuesta de Samsung de crear un nuevo tipo de gafa 3D que combinara la tecnología y vanguardia de la marca coreana con el know how de Silhouette en el diseño de gafas.
