This sort of a neat tale. I feel it will be most appropriate to keep it during the Bay Area, as that’s where it had been useful for schlepping the Dead’s equipment close to back during the day (are you able to consider??!!) But, wherever it can find a safe property for that public will be terrific.

This ban is complete bull shit. It is clear that the Government does not want to give a second chance to already addicted smokers. They are shouting out to stop smoking but at the same time they are imposing bans on electronic cigarettes which clearly show us that they are backing up the Tobacco Industry. What safety are they looking at from electronic cigarette if not buying time and allowing traditional tobacco to impose itself once more. The electronic cigarette has only been possible due to the invention of micro electronic which would not have been possible some years back. We all agree that cigarette is bad and there are strong scientific evidence to prove that and also all the death caused up to now as proof, so why not act today and reduce the overall damage.Even if all kind of assumption are being made on electronic cigarettes today no one has any proof of what they are saying since most Great Advisors are non smokers themselves. I recently met someone who is a High Executive Officer in a Ministry and who has reached there, due to his age seniority. He even sat in the committee who have evaluated the electronic cigarette and also voted NO. When I met him He ask me the following question:- Ok, now tell me what is an electronic cigarette ;- Please show me how it looks like :- How is there smoke coming out where does it come from!!!These are the king of people evaluating the electronic cigarette. If the Government was keen to improve the lives of its population, it would have gone deep into the matter, carry out therapy group over a certain quantity of volunteers, evaluate their health over a certain period, bring up a high caliber a competitor on the market to face the tobacco industry and at the same time offer a viable alternative the people.I totally agree that there must be proper regulation around the e-cig but not a BAN because we cannot allow anything and at any cost. This will only happen if everyone put hand in hand and look forward to a better world without caring for his personal interest because the tobacco industry is very powerful and can accompany the deciders by giving them plenty of incentive whereas the e-cig are only small companies which are striving to help people out of this nightmares !!!

Adding to the “who knew” list, if you right-click the tray icon and chose “send an instant message”, you’ll get a list of your contacts with the online people at the top. This is also a convenient place to check everyone’s notes for changes if you’ve got your contacts list broken up by groups.

While i think these podcasts are great; sometimes there can be a bit of economic’ license’. When looking at income distribution as a share of output overtime its also necessary to look at the composition of the output. Output is not static and in Thailand, the shift from an agrarian economy to a manufacturing one skews the results away from the bottom quintiles as their share would go down even though there income may have risen simply because the growth rate in manufacturing activities was higher. I’m in now way trying to hide from the fact that Thailand has inequality issues; but a more accurate measure should be used. (what i don’t know). The structure of national income in Thailand has changed dramatically as one would expect in a developing country and that makes the use of traditional macro tools that much harder. That agriculture has not kept up is a big problem; but the issues are perhaps less worrisome than the data would portray. One interesting series is the comes from the the human needs survey and that points to a developing trend of wage growth in provincial Thailand; wages as opposed to a sufficiency’ seasonal income purely from the land. How that gets analyzed would be an interesting next podcast.
